I was clearly aware of the previous year, when Melbourne comedian Andy Lee was adopted Cleo Bachelor of the Year. That's right: gamblers chose Lee over Heartthrobs like surfing bad boy Koby Abberton.

My shock of surprise when Lee began dating supermodel Megan Gale, whose form and style murderer has earned his fame in the Australian fashion industry. Lee (who at 25 is six years her junior) is a hero to every pimply 15-year-old class clown.

I decided to put my curiosity to rest until I discovered that the U.S. comedian David Spade at the moment is a blonde bombshell Heather Locklear. Uh-huh. In short, wispy Spade (known for playing a weak TV's Dennis Finch on Just Shoot Me) is a recently divorced landed Locklear in the early nineties, pin-up girl for every chicken-picked 30-year-old. This Spade meets Lara Flynn Boyle and Kristy Swanson.

Intrigued, I continued my research. David Walliams of Little Britain fame, also left a host of beautiful women in the wake hilarious. Walliams has caught the likes of bikini babes Australian Emily Scott, a British supermodel and actress Patsy Kensit, Lisa Snowdon. Not bad for gay in the village.

Woody Allen (who began his career as a stand-up comedian), both Diane Keaton and Mia Farrow. Peter Sellers and Britt Ekland. And Jim Carrey, who clicks on the Mother Lode cost Renée Zellweger and Lauren Holly, the dates of the current flame (and ex-partner of the year), Jenny McCarthy.

Women are easy. All it takes to drive people crazy, a few levi dora underwear and thigh-high boots. Men must work much harder for their share of charisma reduction. In the battle of the mind as an unarmed man of prey are not dating.
