Sanjeeda Sheikh was born on 20th December 1984 in Kuwait City, Kuwait. She is originally from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. She and her family have settled in Mumbai. She lives with her parents and her younger brother. Sanjeeda Sheikh never aspired to be an actor, she came to Mumbai from Ahmedabad to help a friend open a school dance, after a few days in town, she decided to stay and conduct dance classes at school. She taught in the fusion dance. She acted in three South Indian films span of one and a half years with the incidence of India brought her the world on television. Ekta Kapoor spotted at a party, and she immediately turned it to operate its own television program.
